Car Washing

Car washing is the basic for of detailing your vehicle. Even though it seems as an easy to do task this process can really harm your vehicle if it’s not done properly.

 

 

If you take a second and look at your vehicles paint if improperly washed you would notice scratches in your paint that looks like spider webs that detailers call swirls.

 

 

So let’s get to the basics. First you want to start with the proper soap, you want to use real car wash soap (not dishwashing detergent). You want to use what we call the two bucket method in which one bucket has your soap and water and your second bucket is just rinse water and the bottom of these buckets I preffer to use a grit guard in which helps this process a lot more keeping most of the dirt at the bottom of the bucket so you don’t grab and rub it back on the paint. For the finish I use a chamois to dry the vehicle.

 

Now that we understand what is needed let’s get our vehicle clean. First you want to rinse the vehicle to remove any loose dirt.
