Keeping your vehicles black trim and molding clean and protected is a neccesity if you do not want discoloration. If not protected the trim will turn into a grayish color making it harder to restore and result in a full restoration.

When protecting your trim you want to first clean with a soft bristle brush to make sure you do not scratch. Once the trim is dry and clean you want to apply a protectant and dressing with an applicator and one of your favorite protectant products. Apply onto the applicator pad and rub into the vehicles trim and molding one section at a time. What Iike to do afterwards is let dry for a while on its on so it can soak into the pores. After drying for a while go back with a clean towel and wipe off any existing product.
